Server Load - 10 May, 2012
Late this afternoon the server came under intense load and needed to be restarted. On restart the same high load incapacitated the server again and continued to do so with each successive attempt. At present the information we're receiving from the data centre is limited, however the issue appears to be a very high volume of traffic causing the server to overload the memory. As information is limited whilst the data centre works on the server we're not sure whether this is due to a hosted script causing an issue, or being exploited, or whether it's a direct attack on the server.
We apologise for the disruption and hope to have more information to offer, and the server back online, soon.
